  Disappointed

  Liked: The only thing was the shower pressure

  Disliked: Unfortunately the property was disappointing, dirty, run down and the smell from drains was overwhelming, we were booed in for 2 night but left after 1 and found other accommodation. No response when making a complaint, for the money we paid it was frustrating and a bad start to our holiday in sintra.

  Quirky place in the middle of Sintra

  Liked: It was an ok place. comfy beds and a nice warm shower. Its quirky and interesting

  Disliked: It was a confusing and uncomfortable to check in. Communication from the staff was good prior to the stay, but we have a few questions, and they did not respond on the day of the stay. Its an interesting place, just wan't quite comfortable for our family.

  This house is an experience in itself 😄

  Liked: The house itself is absolutely gigantic! I honestly tried to explore all the little labyrinths inside, but I’m pretty sure I still missed a few 😅 There’s so much antique furniture and decor that it feels like walking through a small museum. Despite its unusual shape, the bed was incredibly spacious and cozy. Even though the house was fully booked, we barely heard any noise from other guests. The view from the window was simply magical (photo attached), and the entrance to Sintra’s central park is literally just a few steps away. And the dog perfectly matches the scale of the house 😃 Huge, but very well-behaved and sweet.

  Disliked: Some parts of the house feel a bit worn out, which is honestly to be expected in a place filled with antiques. The shared kitchen was quite messy, although that may have been due to other guests during our stay. The bed linen was clean and freshly washed, but unfortunately had quite a few stains that hadn’t come out in the wash.

  Amazing location to stay for day trip to sintra

  Liked: Spacious, comfortable, accommodating and Charlie.

  Disliked: I wish the extra fee was added together when they charge the credit card but it was understanding.

  Awful place, scam

  Disliked: They sell this place like 5 star hotel but this place is awfull and dirty like the place where live a pigs. I cant imagine that somebody can even live like this there were so dirty. Please dont book this place. Their pictures are not real.

  Lots of effort but lack of up-keeping

  Liked: 1. Very handy having all TV channels available. 2. All lights are Hue and remotely adjustable. 3. Furnitures and appliances are very stylist. 4. It’s lovely having a cute big dog around and greeted by it. 5. We played quite a few rounds of pool. It was a lot of effort put into the place but it was too long time ago.

  Disliked: 1. Hot tub doesn’t work at all and it seems to be for quite a long time already. Broken button got a wire stuck inside to jam it to work? But it got so rusty already - put in long time ago. 2. Title says sauna but there isn’t one. 3. The shower had hair on the filter before we arrive and it was completely blocked thus couldn’t drain at all. Hotel said plumber was called but did not turn up during our whole staying. No one even tried a plunger to resolve the problem in the simplest way. There is a shower with the standalone bathtub but no shower head holder which makes shower very difficult and wet the whole bathroom and the rest of the hotel room after used by a family of 4. Toothbrushes and toothpaste of others’ were left in the bathroom. It just wasn’t cleaned. 4. The room smells of dog including duvets and all fabrics - cushions, rugs etc. The room also smelled of old and musk with lots of mould in the bedroom. 5. Beddings felt very waxy with strong smell of detergent (not rinsed properly), yellowy with big holes on a few of them. There were also many dotted lines of bloodstain - sign of bedbugs. We weren’t bitten but really couldn’t sleep through the night and worried we are bringing some along 😓. 6. Lights in the porch were broken. Honestly, I can’t recommend it to anyone.
