  A perfect little retreat in the heart of Sintra, with wonderful hosts. We’ll be back!

  Liked: The Tiny House was absolutely wonderful! It felt cosy, comfortable and thoughtfully put together, with a lovely private garden that made it easy to relax. The location was the highlight: everything we wanted to explore was within walking distance. Alex and his mum were incredibly welcoming and happy to answer all our questions. Breakfast was delicious, and I would definitely recommend ordering a jug of their sangria in the afternoon as well. It was fantastic! We enjoyed using the hot tubs, and having access to the snooker table in the main house was a lovely bonus. Netflix, HBO and Prime Video were already signed in with the Velvet Sintra accounts, so settling in for a film was effortless. There isn’t a full kitchen, but the microwave, mini fridge, coffee machine and kettle gave us everything we needed for a brilliant two-day stay. I’ve never stayed anywhere through Booking.com where everything felt so perfect. We’re already planning to return in the summer, and we’d love to try the rooms at Velvet Sintra and see the chapel too. Highly recommended!

  Disliked: Nothing to fault. We felt very comfortable throughout our stay and only wished we could have stayed longer!

  Charming place

  Liked: We had an amazing stay at the Tiny House! The bed was honestly one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in, perfect after a long day exploring. The location couldn’t be better: quiet, convenient, and close to everything you might need. The heating system works beautifully, keeping the space warm and cosy without any fuss. What really makes this place special is its quirky, original design. Every corner has personality, and you can tell a lot of thought went into creating something unique. It’s the kind of stay that makes you smile the moment you walk in. Highly recommended if you’re looking for comfort, charm, and a truly memorable experience.

  Good place to stay to relax

  Liked: The jacuzzi

  Disliked: We had some problems with the NETFLIX streaming. Also, after using the jacuzzi at 19:00 we didn’t had hot water until our check out at 12:00.
