Exceptional
A magificent hotel. Ask for Room 23. The balcony is a spectacular bonus
Liked: Everything! this is a lovely hotel. Everyone working here is friendly, so well trained and smiling. This is our second stay. A heaven of peace and refudge now that Sintra's tourism has exploded. Also as coffee drinkers, we were not charged excessively for extra coffee pods (like our place Lapa Palace in Lisbon, terrible there)
Disliked: The "tea" was very expensive for exactly 4 scones, jame and butter and two pots of tea. I think it was more than 40 euros. Sadly there isn't a sauna. So really not a spa, there are only services such as massage/facial offered. No indoor pool.
Liked: It is one of the most charming and beautiful places I’ve stayed at. Peaceful.
Romantic, elevated, breathtaking
Liked: I cannot express enough how this was the most incredible place we’ve ever stayed. It felt like we were time traveling and treated like royalty! It was tranquil, beautiful and magical.
Disliked: Note that you need to take a taxi to the location, Ubers/bolts can’t come to the hotel.

Liked: I chose Valverde Palácio de Seteais to celebrate my birthday, and our stay was truly exceptional. The hotel is absolutely beautiful, and the service throughout our stay was impeccable. Every member of the staff was warm, attentive, and professional, making us feel genuinely welcome.
Disliked: Unfortunately, our experience ended on a disappointing note. On the day of our departure, Ms. Helena at the reception refused to allow our Uber driver to enter the property, even though we had used Uber throughout our entire stay without any issues. Her attitude was dismissive and unhelpful, turning what should have been the perfect ending to a wonderful birthday celebration into an unnecessarily unpleasant experience. It is a shame that this single interaction overshadowed what had otherwise been a memorable stay. We hope this feedback is received in the constructive spirit in which it is intended, as this exceptional hotel deserves a guest experience that is outstanding from beginning to end.
