  Liked: It has been our third time at the property. We love it a lot. We really appreciate high quality baby mattress for the crib (properly firm) and toaster:) Rui left toys and books for our daughter which she loved to play with. Beach toys were such a surprise as well. It feels like home. Thank you so much.

  Great location, fantastic room, top-notch service from the host

  Liked: Superb accommodation right in the center. Located right by the beautiful town hall, it’s just a 10-minute walk to the historic center. The room was very tastefully decorated, and the kitchen was equipped with everything one might need. The welcome and service provided by the host, Rui, were highly personal and professional—we felt well taken care of at all times. Many a 5-star hotel could learn a thing or two from this! A big thank you to Rui!🤍

  Don’t miss out on Urban Chic, it’s fantastic!

  Liked: Everything, especially the host who was amazing! I have never met a more helpful host. He even followed us to the car park to ensure we found a spot! His recommendations for local sightseeing and restaurants was excellent.

  Disliked: There was nothing to not like. The accommodation was exceptional.

  A wonderful location from which to explore Sintra, Lisbon and the many places of interest

  Liked: Overall, the property is fantastic as was our host and his colleagues. We were made very welcome on arriving and looked after very well during the week of our stay. It was highly appreciated. The location of Vila Município is excellent for reaching restaurants, travel hubs (train station, buses, tram, Tuk-tuks), shops & is within walking distance of the main tourist section of Sintra, which has an incredible selection of shops, restaurants, bars and places of interest to visit. There's also a fantastic taverna situated right next door, which opens between 10am-5pm. Coffee & breakfast there is a must. The property itself is extremely well built and maintained. It's a one-bedroom ground floor apartment, with a small bathroom (shower), kitchenette and living room. It also has a small courtyard which is lovely to sit in when you either want more sun (morning/early afternoon) or less sun (late afternoon). Our stay at Vila Municipio was a lovely experience & is highly recommended to anyone who is looking for a quality, value-for-money place to stay in Sintra.

  Disliked: There was nothing that we DIDN'T like but we would have liked a washing machine instead of a dishwasher, which we didn't use. The host explained that there wasn't a washing machine as some guests washed their clothes & hung them up to dry without opening any windows which, of course, causes black mould. If there is any facility (within reason) that you would like, the host is very accommodating and will do his best to provide whatever it is you're looking for.
