  Comfortable, close to centre but quiet

  Liked: Tucked away and quiet area but very close to the centre. Clean room with good shower and comfortable bed. Wi fi worked well and it was good to have both the air conditioning and a balcony. Breakfast fine, nice to have the kettle and coffee machine in the room. Car parking was a bonus and it felt very safe to leave the car on site.

  Disliked: May be the breakfast could have been more varied but not a big issue.

  A stay with incredible potential and fantastic sleeping quarters, but the hospitality, breakfast, and property maintenan

  Liked: The Room: The room was absolutely perfect and exactly what a family of 4 needs. It’s located in a charming old house, but the rooms are newly renovated and spacious. It featured incredibly comfortable beds and pillows, a great shower, excellent AC, beautiful lighting, and wooden floors. It even had a sofa and coffee table, making it feel like a small living room. Parking & Location: Parking was no problem at all. A major plus was that they allowed us to leave our car parked at the property after checkout so we could walk around Sintra, which we really appreciated.

  Disliked: Unwelcoming Staff: The service was incredibly disappointing; it felt as though they didn’t care we were there. The welcome was very unpleasant, and the receptionist was quite rude to my wife upon arrival. Poor Management: One day, the water was completely cut off. There was no one at the reception to help, and when I sent a message through Booking.com, the staff member who replied showed zero concern. Breakfast Misses: The self-serve breakfast was overloaded with pastries and lacked any hot options like scrambled eggs or bacon. Worst of all, out of all those pastries, there wasn't a single pastel de nata—which is practically a crime in Portugal! No WiFi: The WiFi signal did not reach our room at all, which was a very annoying inconvenience. Neglected Property: It is a massive pity that the garden is not taken care of. The property has huge potential, but it seems they don't employ a gardener. We walked through it and saw what could be a beautiful terrace to chill on, but it is completely overgrown and reclaimed by nature. It currently feels like no man’s land.

  Dont judge a book by its cover

  Liked: Interior of hotel is fantastic, it has obviously had a lot of money spent on updating it. Location is perfect. Next to tram stop. 5 mins walk to train and bus station and shops and bars.

  Disliked: 1st impression is not good. The hotel wall has got rusty fence around it. This is not a true reflection of the hotel.

  Highly recommend place to stay for a visit to Sintra!

  Liked: The location was very, very close to the center which made it easy to do walking tour’s and locate restaurants etc. Parking for our rental car was also provided which takes a load off your mind. Edvarda, was an excellent host and sought to care of us in every way. Breakfast was more than adequate and very fresh and beautifully served as well.

  Disliked: Nothing.

  Liked: Well located, clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet variety has got to be seen to believe. I would rate the hotel 8.5 but I am giving it a 10 for the impressive work done by Edvarda! She manage the front desk, keep the room clean, and prepares an amazing breakfast buffet. You'll see her at 8am managing the breakfast and 8pm cleaning the floor. Thanks for the hospitality and conversations Edwarda! Marie & Eric

  Disliked: They don't take credit card payment and, minor poin, the wifi signal aint strong.
