  Liked: Decent apartment with parking. Location excellent for accessing the centre of Avilés. Parking a bit strange and awkward to access and exit, but all very well explained by the keyholder.

  Old building. Clean apartment

  Liked: Spacious, well equipped apartment. The apartment was clean. Nice details - milk, juice and pastries left for us. Lourdes, the lady that met us with the keys, was very nice and welcoming. Good location in that it was very close to the town centre. Free parking is a bonus. Good value for money.

  Disliked: The owner didn't provide the correct information so we had to wait 30 minutes until someone arrived with the keys. Not what you want after a long day travelling. Nor did they apologise for their error, which I thought was a bit rude. The apartment was clean but felt like it could do with some attention. The building is old and smells unpleasant. The bathroom is not the best. The water doesn't drain in the shower and my husband had to clean it out so it didn't overflow. One of the bedrooms and the cupboard in there smelt of mould and we couldn't use it to store our clothes.

  Clean and tidy

  Liked: Very clean and nice with some stuff left in the kitchen for us. Has secure parking in underground garage and is close to lots of things in the city. The host was very friendly but be aware you need to speak some Spanish or be well prepared with translation. Very lovely and helpful person. The sofa is very comfortable and can turn into a bed which is nice to sleep on. The shower is very good temperature and pressure, just don't use it for a long time if you have a few people staying or it will run out of heat for the last people.

  Disliked: I didn't mind it at all but be aware the parking is tight and you will probably need to go back and forwards to get round some corners in the car park. It is secure though so no issues with leaving car in there. If you have more than one car you can park in town car parks without spending a fortune as well
