A fantastic short stay in a very well run hotel

Disliked: Very disappointing experience for a hotel at this price level. At 2:00 p.m., the receptionist told me my room was not ready and refused to check with housekeeping, simply asking me to return at 3:00. Minutes later, the luggage staff checked and confirmed that the room was ready. This reflected poor coordination and a lack of genuine effort. Overall, the staff felt unwelcoming and service was consistently slow. There was also an unpleasant smell in the lobby and rooms, and the shower was not properly clean and had an unusual odor. Surprisingly, no complimentary beach bag is provided, despite this being common at five-star coastal hotels; instead, the hotel charges €40 for one. Overall, the service, cleanliness, and attention to detail do not match the hotel’s pricing or five-star positioning.

Liked: Breakfast was excellent amd staff efficinet
Disliked: Our room on night 1 had electric problems so no air con and lighting went off after 40 minutes. On night 2 there were more electrical problems amd the tv would not switch off. This meant we had 2 nights disturbed sleep. The hotel moved us to another room for nights 3&4 but no apologies made or reparations for our inconvenience. Poor customer service for such an expensive hotel

Liked: The resort is absolutely gorgeous with amazing artwork throughout. Our room as very large and had all that we needed for a 4 night stay, being our first solo trip as a couple without our children and being adults only was a bonus. The spa facilities were great. Husband played 3 of the golf courses which he enjoyed.
Disliked: The service staff like the cleaners and the breakfast attendants were lovely especially a lady by the name of Angela, she was super delightful. However we went to the restaurant near the pool one afternoon and sat down and were completely ignored by about 4 staff members who saw us and served others around us. We luckily had a hire car and decided to head down to Palma for lunch.
