  There are pros and cons. We still enjoyed our 10 day stay in October against all odds

  Liked: Excellent location, a few steps from the beach, cafes, restaurants, farmacy, supermarket, public transport, and amenities. Within easy reach of downtown Palma by bus, bike, or walk along the boardwalk (1 hour) The hotel room, bathroom and public areas were very clean. The shower had excellent pressure and ample water. The balkony facing South was a nice place to sit at the little table & 2 chairs and enjoy the seabreeze and vista.

  Disliked: The rooms in the back building are tiny, barely fitting two twin beds, 2 people & their luggage. 70cm to pass by the beds! The bathrooms are so small, a pregnant lady or a man with a big belly could not safely enter the shower. The plumbing inside the walls is so flimsy that the next door showers, toilets, and sinks, are unbearably noisy. The two twin beds are too small and sliding apart. The mattresses are worn, too firm, and uncomfortable. The noise of airplains taking off starts before 6AM and does not stop ntil 2AM the next morning.

  I wish there was one of these in every city

  Liked: Staff were so nice and amazing. The daily brunch was awesome. Room was clean, shower had great water pressure. Don’t change a thing.

  Fourth stay at Portofino, love the hotel and always enjoy our stay

  Liked: Great location, very clean hotel, helpful friendly staff. Excellent value for money. Modern reception area. Great pool area. Good selection of bar / pool food and drinks.
