Disliked: The bed was very hard. The room was too sparse and I didn’t like that there were absolutely no staff onsite that I could see.

Disliked: The room. Dark, no aircon, dark walkways. Like a prison.

Wonderful place in the heart of Basel

Liked: Wonderful place in the heart of Basel, extremely clean, quiet, perfectly situated for everything - walks, public transport, easily accessible from both airport and railway station. Still be aware that there is small uphill walk from the tram to the hotel. On top of that and one of the best part of the place is the lady in the reception - extremely friendly and helpful, a wonderful person. Happy to have met you, dear Maria!

Great to enjoy the old town Basel. I would not stay there again due to the above reasons

  Liked: The apartment is clean.

Disliked: The location is great for pedestrians, but it's not accessible by private car, only by taxis. Morning truck deliveries create noticeable noise, and cooking smells from the restaurant downstairs are quite strong. Additionally, the female staff member I spoke with on the phone came across as somewhat rude.

Liked: Only AC, I know it's part of the old town and there are special regulations, but a fan or some improvised indoor air conditioning would be great.
