Guest reviews
Very good
Liked: It is close to the train station. Spacious room. Clean bathroom and kitchen.
Disliked: The rooms are very close to each other, and there was significant noise from other guests during the night. The main entrance door was also constantly left open, which raised some security concerns. The self-check-in code was sent via WhatsApp around 3 PM, but I was not informed in advance that this would be the method of delivery. As I had no internet connection, accessing the building was very difficult, and it took some time to resolve the issue with the owner. Cleanliness also needs improvement: the towels had visible foundation stains, and the sofa in the room was dirty.
Liked: Good bed, clean and ventilator
Disliked: No wifi was a bit problematic due to the hogh fees on mobile data in Switzerland
Liked: A pleasant short walk from the train station.
Disliked: Wi-Fi wasn't working.
Good budget option, close to centre
Liked: Clean beds, nice views, good facilities including kitchen etc.
Disliked: Instructions to get in were in German so it was a bit tricky to access the room. The wifi did not work. We didn't get a Basel card. The table and floor were perhaps not as clean as they could have been.
Disliked: Received many AI emails, but never any response when I asked for Basel card.
Disliked: The wifi did not work. Although I informed the host about that, I never received an answer.
