  Liked: The apartment was really lovely and comfortable! I had a wonderful time.

  Disliked: Not an issue for me but fair warning to others - the stairs are very tall and narrow. There is no lift either. Just in case anyone is looking at accessibility requirements.

  Liked: Basel The photos in the listing clearly illustrate the apartment in a recently renovated house. It's quiet and comfortable, although the first encounter with the sloping wall may feel painful 🤕/😁. The large Velux windows automatically close in response to rain. We don't know what happens with the ventilation during prolonged rains - it can get stuffy. The kitchenette is well-equipped. There's a pleasant, separate relaxation area. The stairs to the third floor are quite narrow, so with heavy luggage, it can be a bit tiring. After leaving the house with your back to it, turn left and walk 10 minutes to an inexpensive DENNER supermarket. Again, on leaving the house turn right just behind the next building and take the stairs down leading to the pedestrian route into the city (after about 30 minutes you reach the edge of the Old Town). Getting around Basel is a pleasure as all tourists receive a free Baselcard for all public transport, plus a 50% discount at many cultural sites. Tram no. 3 stop is a 5-minute walk away. To become a happy Baselcard holder as soon as possible, leave your city tax at the location indicated by your host. Also, study the Wi-Fi password very carefully (strong signal) - it's sneaky 😁. The host is always online 👍🏻 to assist you.

  Liked: Style of the apartment was ok. The internet was ok.

  Disliked: Lack of parking for the car on the street, cleanliness of the room was so so (there was a dust on the floor), there was no possibility to plug in EU plug so I couldn't work on a computer and charge my phone and the worst thing was that the shower walk-in wasn't absorbing water (the water didn't flow into the sewer).
