  It was only for one night. And that was the last one

  Liked: The bedsheets were clean at least. The staff were polite.

  Disliked: It’s an Indian Restaurant & Hotel and the smell of the spices were everywhere. The hotel needs renovation. The shower was very bad I couldn’t use it at all. No light and mold everywhere. Poor breakfast.

  Liked: Everything was excellent. The breakfast and Indian dinner must be the most reasonable in town. Their Indian dishes are exceptional good and authentic.

  A great place to stay to include a day and night at the Basel Christmas markets to your Swiss vacation

  Liked: Very easy 5 minute bus ride from the Train Station, and an easy 10 minute walk to the main shopping street and the Basel Christmas markets. Close to a grocery story, quiet and helpful front desk. Good size fridge in the room. Very comfortable bed.

  Disliked: Nothing to complain about.

  Adequate stay in Basel before cruise.one of lesser expensive hotels close to train stations wevould take daytripto colma

  Liked: Good location. Very close walk to city bus we got Basel card from hotel that allowed us to use public transportation free. Short walk to Christmas market.

  Disliked: Old hotel. Needs updating. Only one plug for electronics. Had to get adapters to use my own curling iron and charge phone. Bed ok. Not amazing. Shower needs mat or strips on the tub floor to prevent slips

  Too bad that the property is not cared for

  Liked: Location, right at the start of the old town

  Disliked: It is in desperate need of an update. Carpet in my room was filthy. The furniture worn. I must have gotten booked into an old room. The room my son stayed in was in better shape. The common areas smelled of cooking eggs.
