  Disliked: The facilities are basic, but the owner's complete inability to grasp the concept of hospitality makes it clear she’s in the wrong line of work. No elevator Unlit stairs Limited transport Subpar breakfast

  A little out of the action in Grindlewald but easily accessible by the local bus

  Liked: Staff were very helpful, large room and a great view. Restaurant was also excellent we had dinner on second night and the local dishes were amazing.

  Disliked: More hot options for breakfast. Also local bus only runs till 7:30pm from Grindelwald meaning you either don't eat in Grindelwald or you have to walk back.

  Extremely rude blonde hair host

  Liked: Claudia, the waitress, was super nice and helpful. Had many great chats with her and the only reason the place isn’t rated 1 out of 10

  Disliked: The blonde hair host was extremely rude. The bed broke on me during my stay, and I am a 180 pound male, by no means overweight or heavy. I brought up to their attention when it happened, and she immediately placed blame on me like I cause it. Additionally it occurred at 9pm, and she was bent out of shape because it was so late when the issue arrived (see photos and see if I could possibly sleep on that). Then when she came to address the issue, she saw the my infant son threw up a little bit on the bed sheet, and told me “this is why we don’t let pets here”. My son is not a pet, and you do allow infants, so either don’t allow them or not complain, and don’t compare my baby to a pet dog or cat,

  Beautiful view

  Liked: Excellent location and view. Very clean hotel. Large room. Dog friendly. Plenty of parking right outside of hotel. I would recommend this hotel

  Disliked: I wish the room would have had a fan and a mini fridge. Breakfast could be improved.
