  A comfortable stay with stunning Grindelwald views, though room amenities and breakfast variety could be enhanced

  Liked: Overall a good experience and a very comfortable stay. The view of Grindelwald is absolutely breathtaking and truly made our stay special!

  Disliked: There is a lack of in-room facilities, specifically a kettle and a fridge. To get hot water, we had to walk over to the main lodge opposite. Additionally, the breakfast variety is fair; repeating the same options over multiple days can get a bit repetitive.

  Perfect views and a pleasant stay

  Liked: Perfect view from the room. City tax is included in the booking fee you paid online, no extra fees. It’s much cheaper compared with the other hotel that I stayed. There is a washing machine and a dryer, both coin-operated.

  Disliked: Breakfast could be better. There is no salmon, and they don’t cook scrambled eggs or fried eggs for you (compared with the other hotel that I stayed). The TV is good but the casting/screen mirror function has been disabled, which is a bummer and the TV become useless for non German speaking people.

  Liked: Convinced location. Excellent view of room and restaurant. The size of room is fine but lack off basic things like cups, tea bags, fridge……just a room with nothing inside.Restaurant Staff are very nice.

Please note that the reception and the breakfast restaurant are located at Jungfrau Lodge - Swiss Mountain Hotel, just across the street.

The Grindelwald Train Station can be reached after a 5-minute walk or bus ride and the Grindelwald Terminal and First cable car station are a 5-minute bus ride or a 15-minute walk away.Parking is subject to availability due to limited spaces.
