  It isn't somewhere I would choose to stay again, at that price

  Liked: The location was within the city, which was rare. I was able to check in after 22.00 having had a very long, all-day train journey from north England to Lausanne. I did get a room although the proprietor said there was no record of my booking (prepaid to Booking.com in full).

  Disliked: The room was desperately hot, with an ineffective fan and no air con. Shared bathroom between four (double?) room; largely clean although there was a fair bit of someone else's hair on the floor. Shared balcony, which compromised security because the balcony doors were the only opening windows and it was too hot to sleep without them open. Someone (in the next room?) was smoking weed and coughed continuously for a couple of hours while I was trying to sleep. There was no access to drinking water except from the bathroom and nowhere to make a hot drink. I did ask for a kettle and this was promised but didn't appear. Building, furniture, fillings, towels and bedding all pretty tired but clean.

  Friendly and helpful personnel, but be ready for poor quality of the facility

  Liked: The personnel were very friendly and helpful. I was met in the late evening and check in was very quick and nicely.

  Disliked: The facility is very old and noisy, which is not a problem in itself, but it is not well maintained. Aside of the smell in the venue, the shower tap was spilling water all around, and the shower curtain was mouldy. In addition, there was no soap or shampoo in the bath.

  Very nice stay in the location in the middle of everything in Lausanne

  Liked: This was my second stay in the location. My experience was as before - very pleasant and positive. The location is relatively close to the metro station in Malley. The area is full of businesses, shops, restaurants. The city center, park, university and connections are in close proximity and well accessible. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It provided everything necessary, including small fridge, electric kettle and coffee maker. The wifi connection was perfect. The room had also a balcony with a view on the Lake Geneva and the city of Lausanne. Staff was kind and helpful. The landlord is very friendly, and I'll be happy to stay again in the future.

  Disliked: There is nothing really. Everything was perfect.

  Liked: Lovely, friendly owners. View from window on far located lake. 5min till bus station.

  Disliked: Absolutely basic room-basic bed, small fridge, small Tv (really bad connection, couldn`t watch no programm), old furniture. Bathroom common for all three rooms, tiny walls. Window can`t open in ventilation mode (close or fully open).
