Fabulous
Pleasant stay especially with a kitchen fridge microwave which made eating meals very easy
Liked: Location suited us with the train station about 15 minutes walk. The apartment was clean and spacious with high ceilings as it is in an older building. Small galley kitchen and bathroom /toilet situated before the main living sleeping area. This apartment is on the 3 rd floor and is serviced by a lift/elevator. It is a corner apartment so there is 2 sets of windows which provides good light and cross ventilation.
Disliked: Not sure how long this apartment has been on the Booking.Com rental list but I think a renewal of the kitchen crockery and cutlery would enhance a stay there. Also the bath towels need replacement as they were on the “thin” side. Bath sheets would be better. As we had planned on walking to the apartment from the train station we didn’t realise how steep some of the streets in Lausanne were. We followed a google maps which took us to the bottom of Chemin avenue which meant a long steep walk to the building. My tip would be to stay on Ave de la Gare until the crossroad of Folimont which brings you to the top end of Chemin with Number 4 only 15m walk down to the driveway and the front door of the lobby.

Liked: Nice studio apartment with open plan, lots of windows. Low-traffic neighborhood on a block of large apartment buildings. Bathroom fine, good small kitchen with cookware but no extras like oil or coffee. Second floor with large balcony. Spacious, comfortable room with table and chairs, though it got warm overnight with shutters closed; there is no fan. Overall, a fine place for a few days in Lausanne.
Disliked: Minimal contact with host, possibly distant, though we didn't encounter any problems.

Liked: Super clean and large apartment. Great location since we planned to travel by train to other destinations. Short walk to the train station (about 10 minutes). Everything works well, fast response from the management of the apartment to all our questions. Balcony with a view of the lake.
Disliked: Coming from North America, we are used to air conditioning. That is not common in Switzerland and the weather was unusually hot. However the apartment has good shutters and I suppose the hot weather does not last for long. In any case, air conditioning was not expected, since it was not advertised.

Liked: Location alright, large and sunlit apartment, clean bathroom and well equipped kitchen.
Disliked: When booking the apartment I asked the owner to make sure there were no feather beddings as my wife is allergic to feathers. On arrival we found out that the pillows as well as quilt were filled with feather - the owner did not care to replace them. I again requested to sort it out but they never responded. I was lucky my brother (whom we were visiting in Lausanne) lent us foam filled pillows and cotton quilt. This was a big disappointment for as the owner after collecting the fee stopped taking care of the guests!

Liked: The agreement with the host was simple and precise. The location of the property is excellent, many things can be visited on foot. The apartment was clean and tidy with a nice view of Lake Geneva.
