Liked: Room right in the heart of everything. Getting there was really confusing even with the proper hotel check in location. GPS would not show driivng on the cobblestone. Got lucky enough to get the one room with a balcony as well.

Liked: RUDE CUSTOMER SERVICE by DANIEL at the front desk for check in and check out. When checking in, I had a difficult time with entering my information on the iPad. I could not locate some letters as it was a “Swiss” keyboard. I told him I was having difficulty because I’m accustomed to a US keyboard. He said in a very demeaning and sarcastic tone in front of others waiting to check in; you are in Switzerland, it’s a Swiss keyboard, you have to figure it out. Check in is not at the magic hotel, you have to walk approximately 1 block to hotel Krone. Room was not ready understandably as we arrived before 3 pm. Luggage had to be placed in the luggage room and DANIEL became frustrated when I asked him to repeat the location because it was unclear to me. He answered to me as I was a child. Super unnecessary. He needs to understand that he is the face of the hotel and the first and last contact. That is a crucial point where customer service must be on point understanding that people from all walks of life are coming through your doors. The location is perfect, however it is next to a courtyard where all the noise is heard and the church bell (across the street ) rings every hour and half hour. The hotel rooms have no air conditioning so you have to sleep with the windows open and a small provided fan. I stayed in mid September so the weather must be unbearable in the summer months. Above noise didn’t bother me, but if you are a light sleeper, this place is not for you. Clean room.
