  I highly recommend the hotel for anyone who wants to be closer to the train station

  Liked: The hotel was located in an area close (several blocks) from the train station so easily manageable to walk over to with wheeled suitcases. It was in an area outside the Old Town but that was easily reachable with a good walk (half-dozen blocks). We could easily select from several places to eat in a one-two block area.

  Disliked: The room was rather small but adequate. It was quiet despite being on a fairly busy street, which our window faced.

  We will be back next chance we have to return to Lucerne!

  Liked: Friendly, helpful staff, terrific location, extremely pleasant ambiance, and clean, comfortable room. And, not surprising here in Switzerland, everything is well thought-out and WORKS!

  Disliked: Breakfast rather costly. With very good cafes (like Two Hands) right nearby, we were happy to have breakfast elsewhere.

  Comfortable stay, conveniently located

  Liked: Conveniently located to shops, station, main tourist sites and variety of restaurants. Bed was comfortable, shower pressure was strong and good hot water.
