  Go somewhere else - Very Bad Value for money

  Liked: There was nothing that I liked about this hotel except the location

  Disliked: First of all, you do nor reserve "1" room, you reserve "1/2" room, because the the volume is eaten by the huge Attic, You can not access 90% of the floor space without bowing your head. There is no wardrobe in the room. I had to stay with my clothes in my luggage, like a nomad - which is not what you are expecting from a hotel. There was not also enough hangers to hang the clothes, there was only "1". In order to check-in, you have to pay the full money, which I believe is a trap, because I wanted to get out of there immediately after seeing the room. The staff at the end of the number can not properly speak neither English, nor French nor Italian. He was neither friendly, nor could help with any thing.

  We loved Lucerne, but would not choose this hotel again

  Liked: The location was great! Close to everything!

  Disliked: The room was very small and stuffy. No air conditioning and there was one very small desk fan that rattled and didn’t help with sleeping. We booked months in advance and our room was one that wasn’t shown in photos, and the window opened directly onto the building next door only 1 metre away, which made it dark and no natural light. Other rooms had views but not ours. The bathroom walls were painted dark brown and had water marks or mold coming through, and needs a good clean, however everything else in the bathroom and room were clean. There were 2 coffee cups but no water glasses in the room. I think it’s a great location but for us, the photos on the website were deceptive.

  Mediocre, would not recommend for more than one night

  Liked: It was close to shopping areas in Lucerne.

  Disliked: It was not very clean when we got there, needed a vacuum & the towels smelled weird. One of the windows was broken and covered with tape, the shower door hinges were not drilled in, and it’s not very quiet.
