Great location, clean room and helpful front desk staff

Liked: There is the Lowen Center nearby with not one but two supermarkets (Coop and Lidl) so getting food is no problem. The hotel is within 15-min walking distance to the Lucerne main train station, but as the hotel provides a guest card for free you can take the bus to and from the station instead.

Disliked: Not really a problem but a minor annoyance: For some weird reason both hotel card keys I was issued with failed on 3 separate days when I returned to the hotel. I had to go to the reception desk each time to have them reprogrammed or replaced. Soundproofing could be better: I could hear the guests upstairs walking around their room.

Disliked: no bar, not up the standard of a regular ibis styles - more of a ibis/ibis budget level

Liked: The stuff were very friendly and happy to help us with our questions. The location is great, in a walkable distance from the train station. The room was comfortable.

Disliked: The room had a window looking at a back yard, and in the morning it had a lot of noise from the garbagge picking.

Liked: The room and the location were good.

Disliked: The bathroom seemed clean, but there was a strong smell of urine. We had to close the bath door to be able to sleep.
