  Liked: Outstanding location.

  Disliked: The 42 steps to the front door. The lack of a microwave. Hooks to hang towels in the bathroom. Not being able to get out both sides of the bed.

  Disliked: It was a long way from the city centre. While it had a lift there were two flights of stairs down from the road to the front door.

  شقة جميلة بس بدون مكيف - لن أكرر التجربة

  Liked: الشقة جميلة ومناسبة للعائلات، وتحتوي على غرفة نوم رئيسية، وغرفة أطفال بسريرين، بالإضافة إلى صالة فيها كنبة تتحول إلى سرير. المطبخ مجهز بشكل جيد بأدوات الطبخ، كما تتوفر غسالة ملابس وصحون، وهذا مناسب للإقامات الطويلة الشقة تقع في الدور الثاني ولها تراس جميل ومطل ولكن الإطلالة جزئية على البحيرة وليست كاملة بسبب وجود شجرة كبيرة، الدخول إلي الشقة كان سهلاً، والمالك متعاون وسريع في التواصل من الملاحظات: 1. أن الشقة تحتوي على حمام واحد فقط 2. لا يوجد فيها تكييف فقط مراوح ولا تفي بالغرض خاصاً ان الجو حاراً خلال فترة إقامتنا أخر شهر 6 ميلادي

  Disliked: من الملاحظات: الشقة انزل من مستوى المواقف فلما تجي تنزل لها فيه درج طويل تقريبا 20-30 درجة واذا معك شنط كثير بيكون جدا متعب كذلك الاصنصير صغير جداً يا دوب يأخذ له نفرين الى ثلاثة الشقة ما فيها الا حمام واحد فقط - طبعا ما فيه شطاف لا يوجد فيها تكييف فقط مراوح ولا تفي بالغرض خاصاً ان الجو حاراً خلال فترة إقامتنا أخر شهر 6 ميلادي

  Romantic and relaxing, with beautiful walks & greatly enjoyed by our 2 children as well

  Liked: More than half way up Mount Brè, with an amazing view, separate sleeping areas and a washing machine - which is so handy when you’re doing a lot of travelling. The washing dries well on the drying rack on the balcony, which gets loads of sun in the afternoon. Lugano is also a beautiful and relaxing lakeside town with top tier food & gelato, we didn’t know quite what to expect, never having been to this part of Switzerland, and were blown away.

  Disliked: No downsides but a couple of pointers for those checking this out: Firstly, most grocery stores close at 7pm latest, and service is even more limited on public holidays, but some cafés are always open into the evenings. Plan ahead for breakfasts or suppers if you want to eat on the balcony. The sunset is gorgeous. It helps to be physically able to come here. There is a lift in the building, but hills around Lugano & stairs between the apartment and its car park. If coming via public transport there is also a bit of a drive / bus ride through town and up the mountain from the train station — about 20 minutes from the station. There is a separate funicular station with regular mountain trains next door, they go every 30 mins up & down the mountain. The funicular café by the peak has surprisingly damning reviews online so we did not try that! Plan your meals well and you should have a great time on the mountain. There is another restaurant as well. We weren’t sure what to do with the bins when it came to putting them out, and I asked but was still a bit unclear where the bin men pick up from! Aside from that it was a perfect stay & communication from our host was very helpful!
