  The perfect place for our Lugano visit

  Liked: We absolutely loved the location of Castagnola, away from the busyness of the town but an easy walk or bus ride in. The property is one street up from the lake with a gorgeous view from the garden terrace. It was amazingly quiet and peaceful. There is a trail along the lake that we walked every day, with lovely swimming spots. Olga and Bernhard were very gracious and helpful hosts. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable with a big bed and modern bathroom. We appreciated having access to a washing machine. We look forward to coming back!

  Exceptional appartment in a great location

  Liked: The appartment was very comfortable, well equipped and perfectly clean. Great location, calm, with nice view on the lake.

  Disliked: At this time of year, the terrasse never has sunshine, despite being south facing. Without the 2 huge pine trees in from if the terrasse blocking the sun and the view, it would be perfect
