  Nice location

  Liked: Its location which is really close to downtown

  Disliked: It resemble somehow as colours and modern design a ferry. Price is quite hight for the room’s quality. We had a very late check in because the room wasn’t ready and we were offered a different one. There is not a specific date place to leave luggages after check out

  Liked: Friendly helpful staff. Not that far from the train station for walk ability. Would have been more helpful if you knew that you needed to take a funicular down from train station to town/hotel level just for the fyi—less stress. Hotel is in a good area and near anything you need/want in the pretty town and the lake area. Hotel was clean. Breakfast was good.

  Disliked: Tiny room. Awkward to move around. Bathroom needs upgrade.

  Liked: Good location, friendly staff, 2 bottles of water every day, complimentary wine at arriving, very clean new bedding, a good balcony with a table and chairs.

  Disliked: No hair dryer, a very small mini-bar, no hooks in the bathroom to hang towels.

  Delightful hotel in the perfect location

  Liked: You cannot fault the location - so close to the bus station, and a short walk to cafes and shops, and of course to the lake. And yet, being so close to everything it was also very quiet. The staff were all very friendly and helpful, the breakfast had many options and we always got a table, even though we were in Lugano during the Swiss National Day long weekend (a happy accident)! The beds were comfortable and there were different pillows to choose from. The shower was good, and the included toiletries were a shampoo/body wash and a conditioner. We stayed in the suite and there was an additional sink in the bedroom. Air conditioning was only in the front room, it the bedroom, but it flowed into the bedroom so that was fine. We hadn’t stayed in a 3-star for several years and we were blown away by how lovely the whole stay was!

  Disliked: There isn’t much to say that’s negative. The only tiny point is that the suite is slightly split level, so it’s a bit of a trip hazard at night.
