  Our stay was perfect. Very close to Lugano Train station. Just 5min away. Migros is just a few hundred meter away. Easy

  Not what we expected

  Liked: The apartment is very spacious, clean, quiet, modern kitchen with excellent hob, good quality matching pots and pans, plenty crockery. Comfortable bed, lots of storage space, plenty hot water, heating and wifi worked well. Migros supermarket nearby.

  Disliked: The 8.2 rating on B.com meant we had certain expectations that were not met. Automatic communications we received before arrival had a slightly aggressive tone, although this may be due to translation problems, stating extra would be charged for eg early check in, late check out, too much rubbish left in kitchen recycling, flat not left in a reasonable state. Girl who showed us round obviously didn’t want to be there. Extra charged on arrival for use of washing machine. We said we had our own detergent in but we were still charged something like Chf2.50 for electricity for one wash. It seemed very petty when we had paid such a lot to rent the place. Dishwasher not working. A couple of drawer fronts coming off in bedroom. Impossible to have a shower without wetting your hair, so take a shower cap. No hand soap in bathroom. One and a quarter toilet rolls left for a three night stay. It was adequate but seemed petty. Location is fine as long as you realise it is up a very long steep hill from station and town. Bus No 3 runs every 10 mins and stop is nearby. Building site across the road. Noise didn’t disturb us but it may later with windows open.

  Our stay was excellent, we will be back!

  Liked: The host was very nice, and the fact, that we met her. The apartment is well furnished, clean and has everything one needs. The view is amazing. All the places are walkable, and if you don't walk, the bus stop is two minutes away. I strongly recommend this place, and if back in Lugano, that's where I will stay. Loved it!!!

  Lovely stay in beautiful Lugano - would come back!

  Liked: Location is great - 10 mins walk from station and 20 mins from the centre. Apartment was very well equipped and clean and the beds were comfortable. Nice views to the surrounding mountains from the balcony. Breakfast items provided were a nice touch.

  Disliked: Wifi is a bit hit and miss. Owner doesn't speak english - luckily could converse with my son in Spanish!

  Great place to stay

  Liked: The unit was a great place to stay for the family plus we had an amazing view during our stay. No hassle in checking in as they accommodated us on our arrival and checking out was quick too. Migros is close to the apartment which makes it easier for us to shop necessities.

  Disliked: It's a bit far from the metro station if you plan to walk and you have luggage..So if you're planning to stay you can try the bus no. 3 which takes you to studio radio station and just few minutes walking to the unit.
