  Don’t stay in an expensive hotel in the town… hit the mountain and have a home from home

  Liked: Amazing location, high up in the mountain. Amazing views down to lake Lugano. A lovely shared pool and right next to the funicular for a scenic route down, or option to take the bus. Walk to the summit the mild route within 50min

  Wonderful!

  Liked: A really nice, clean and spacious apartment, at a beautiful spot overlooking the lake and the city. The kitchen is fully equipped.

  Disliked: We were there during a heat wave. The place generally stays cool because of its altitude, but one specific night was so hot we couldn’t sleep

  Best choice for Lugano

  Liked: The apartment is lovely. It's spacious, clean and neatly kept. The view from the balcony as well as from the swimming pool is brilliant. The host is perfect, she reacts quickly and cares about your stay. Lugano city can be easily reached by bus. There are so many nice things to do with children (funivia to Monte Brè round the corner for example). We've just left the place but already miss it! Maybe a note about the heat: we visited Lugano during a heatwave (33-35C, mid August), but the heat in the apartment is well manageable (higher up on the hill, so cooler; apartment facing SWW, cool mornings; bedrooms on cooler side; ventilators; swimming pool of course). Thanks to the hosts!
