  Affordable but in need of an upgrade

  Liked: Great location with a nice route along a river to the lake. Affordable price compared to nicer properties. Super Coop supermarket right across the street

  Disliked: In need of some TLC- wardrobe & bedside cabinets need a repaint, new white bedding with mattress protector recommended.

  Nice studio with balcony near Lugano center

  Liked: Nice studio. Nicely decorated. Easy to reach and near Lugano city center. Nice that it has a balcony.

  Disliked: Shower is a bit narrow. Also I do not like the approach of getting a list of fines in case you loose a key, leave too late, smoke in the appartment etc. Doesmt gove a welcome feeling.

  Smell of closed room, very old facilities

  Liked: Not much to appreciate. The cleaning maybe.

  Disliked: Very disappointing and frustrating stay. From the very beginning, communication was poor. Instead of helpful guidance, I received a series of automated and impersonal messages, mostly focused on strict rules and penalties. The tone felt unnecessarily aggressive, with repeated warnings about fines for non-compliance, rather than any effort to ensure a comfortable stay. When I asked questions, there was no meaningful response—only more automated replies. Eventually, I received a response from someone, but it was clear they had not read any of my previous messages, making it both irrelevant and unhelpful. The condition of the property itself was also far below expectations. The premises are very old and poorly maintained. The room had a noticeable stale smell, as if it had been closed and unused for enough time to creare this smell. In addition, the bathroom was particularly disappointing, with extremely low water pressure that made even basic use uncomfortable. To make matters worse, despite charging a cleaning fee, guests are still instructed and expected to clean before leaving. This feels unreasonable and inconsistent—if a cleaning fee is applied, a basic level of service should be provided without shifting the responsibility onto the guest. Overall, the combination of poor communication, unwelcoming and threatening messaging, lack of responsiveness, and substandard accommodation made this a very negative experience. I would not recommend this place to others, as it fails to meet even basic expectations of hospitality and service.

  Excellent

  Liked: Its close to the centre, theres a supermarket 2 minutes away, the kitchen had everything that was needed to cook, the bed was very comfortable, everything was clean, the view on the balcony was awesome, access to the property was also easy.

  Disliked: i liked everything expect that it was very hot throughout the day but it didnt bother us much since we werent there much throughout the day.

  Great local stay!

  Liked: the location was about a mile from the train so it was pretty convenient. the room was super clean, the bed was comfortable and the kitchen was a great add on. Would stay here again:)

  Disliked: the check in instruction video link was private and I messaged them on booking.com hours in advance about this but no response so was left there for a hour trying to figure out how to get in. Once we got ahold of the manager it was a super simple process so just note to make sure you get the video and that it works beforehand!!!
