  Disliked: I paid the room, did the deposit and finally my personal information - i got no code for opening the keybox. No respond in my phone calls or either Mail, until now 2 days later.

  JUST DON'T!!!!

  Liked: Absolutely nothing. DO NOT STAY HERE! I booked this place as it was advertised as having Aircon. It's portable and was useless in the heatwave that Europe is experiencing. The owner wants a damage deposit before giving you the key lock code utilising WhatsApp and PayPal. This is effectively holding you to ransom as you don't get to see the place until you pay the damage deposit which is over and above the hotel price. This takes more time and is not clear on booking..com. The room stank of animal urine and was dirty. Even the couch cushions reeked of animal wee.. I left after one hour. I contacted booking.com and the owner requesting a refund. Booking.com lied about helping and have since ghosted me and the owner said the cleaners said the smell was diffusers. There were no diffusers in the room. Also unlikely there are diffusers sold that smell like dog piss?!!!??

  Disliked: That the owner extracted funds that she is now refusing to return. It's taken hours of my time contacting her and booking.vom to attempt to get our funds back. DO NOT deposit funds to this woman. Having now read the previous reviews, wish I had done this first, the owner gaslights anybody who makes valid complaints, including the use of racism towards non English speaking people from Pakistan. This apartment also only has a two star rating on Airbnb, read those reviews too!!! Be aware that Booking.com will not help you recover the funds she obtains outside of their platform despite prior claims of fraudulent behaviour by other users. And booking.com continue to endorse this owner on their platform despite the reviews. Sadly we booked in haste due to the heatwave.

  Disliked: My stay was okay overall, but there was a strong smoke smell coming from the corridor throughout the stay. The smell would enter the apartment from the hallway, and I even opened the windows in the public corridor myself to try to improve the situation because it was everywhere. After my stay, I was accused of smoking in the room, even though I am not a smoker. I explained multiple times that the smell was coming from neighbors smoking nearby, not from me, but the property managers ignored this and still refused to return my $200 deposit. I also didn’t appreciate that after booking, they requested personal information and ID details that were not clearly mentioned in the booking conditions. On top of that, cancellation was not possible. Another issue was a small vase that accidentally broke during my stay. I checked the item myself and saw it was from IKEA, with a price of around 19 francs clearly marked on it. I even offered to send a photo showing the original price, but the property manager claimed it cost 90 francs instead. This made the situation feel even more dishonest. Overall, I’m very disappointed with how everything was handled. Being falsely accused of smoking, losing my deposit, and being said unfairly for a low-cost item made this feel like a dishonest experience. I would not stay here again.

  Nice apartment for short or longer stays

  Liked: Beautiful space, clean and furnished in good taste, comfortable to unwind

  Disliked: The automated check-in process was OK, although sending cash for security deposit and ID via email seems a bit outdated, given by the industry is right now. There are better ways of doing this available. The host was nice and professional about it though.

  Clean and well furnished place with lots of room. Good value!

  Liked: Fully furnished and very clean. Very large room.

  Disliked: Kitchen was missing an oven or microwave. Although the windows look out on a side street, it was too noise to have them open during the night.
