  If I return to Zurich I will definitely stay here again

  Low tech kindness almost makes up for high tech inconvenience

  Liked: The room was comfortable and there was water waiting for us. The location is great. The staff were generally helpful. There are central coffee machines on each floor level, as well as snacks.

  Disliked: Online checkin. We had arrived from France and the charging facilities on the train weren't working, so all our devices were flat and we could not check in on line. When we arrived the kind reception lady gave us cans of prosecco and loaned us charging converters (Swiss power connections are different to EU ones) and sat and helped us check in online, but it took some time and emotional energy and I would really just have liked it if she had been empowered to check us in the old fashioned way so I could have gone to bed. We were exhausted! Management: please note that some customers, ie me, don't like this trend of online checkin and digital keys. In future I will be checking before booking.

  Liked: The breakfast was deliciious and the staff were friendly!

  Disliked: The room was noisy, the WIFI was very slow, and you had to use your phone to unlock the door to get into your room, which I personally didn't like (particularly because the WIFI was slow, so then it would sometimes take awhile to be able to unlock your room door).

  Liked: Location, cleanliness and service. Very fonctional hotel. The breakfast was plentiful (altho room can be crowded early in the morning).

  Great location, excellent breakfast, and outstanding cleanliness

  Liked: The hotel is perfectly located in the city center, within walking distance of the main train station, with the bus station right across the street — extremely convenient for day trips and traveling around Switzerland. The Old Town is just a 10-minute walk away. The hotel is clean and comfortable, and there is a coffee machine on the floor. The breakfast was delicious, with a great variety of options to suit different tastes. The Wi-Fi worked perfectly throughout the entire hotel. We were pleasantly surprised to find a bottle of drinking water for each guest upon arrival. Housekeeping was excellent, with the room cleaned thoroughly every day. Overall, we had a wonderful stay. We highly recommend this hotel and would be delighted to return on our next visit!

  Disliked: The only downside was the lack of a wardrobe or bedside table, which made our stay as three people sharing one room for a week slightly less comfortable. Overall, we had a wonderful stay.
