  TAKE GASTHAUS 210 OFF THE BOOKING.COM WEBSITE

  Liked: Nothing, as on our arrival to the property we were informed by the store owner under the building that it shut down 2 months previously. What a way to start our booking.com journey, as we have accomodation booked for the next 17days at 7 properties. It was very disappointing & extremely stressful. Vince from Booking.com customer support was terrific once we worked out how to talk to a person. We actually booked a property across the road which also turned upside down, when we self checked in. With 2 rooms booked, confirmed and paid for, we only received 1 key for 1 room. After trying to contact the property for over an hour, we got through to Vince who got us back on track.

  Disliked: Everything. A disaster really. We hadn’t just booked for ourselves but another couple. Then the 2nd disaster at Swiss Star across the road and a AUS $70 taxi to our final hotel, which also cost €50 each more than the original booking.

  Reasonable location near the bus/train station

  Liked: First impression wasn't that good (small room, not so new equipment by Swiss standards, bug coming out of the drain), but sleeping was okay in the end, soft towel, bed just right, all promised equipment was available, microwave and basic cutlery were a surprise. Fast food branch right across the street, several bars, shops and restaurants in the street, shop 24/7 right in the same building

  Disliked: Special access to the accommodation through the shop (which keeps hotel guests and shop customers away from each other), but thanks to this, the reception can apparently work 24/7, but what bothers me more is that the entrance is not marked at all, it should be the accommodation's responsibility and obligation to at least mark it a little, this way guests get lost and don't realize that the accommodation is in a shop
