  Atypical small clean 'hotel', different location, rooms lacking light

  Liked: Excellent small clean bedroom. Very comfortable bed. Excellent lady on the reception desk. Very good bakery cafe next door. Tram stops close by.

  Disliked: The location is not great there is nothing special and the nearby park is pretty rowdy in the evening. This is not an hotel in the classic sense. Its actually a Thai restaurant and the hotel rooms are outside in a courtyard. My room had no natural light except for a very small window. As the bedrooms gave out into a courtyard with the bathroom in front all the windows were frosted. TV very small screen with almost all German language stations - not useful in an international city like Zurich. If you are looking for a more cosy vibe or at least a reception/lounge this is not the place.

  Loved Zurich, mixed reviews on hotel

  Liked: Clean

  Disliked: Pillows are terrible! Restaurant tooo expensive! Breakfast was very poor, didn’t replenish any food so if you were last having breakfast you had what was left. No fresh meat or cheese and no boiled eggs replenished!!!!!!!

  A calm, peaceful stay with a wonderful breakfast

  Liked: I really enjoyed my stay at Greulich Design & Boutique Hotel. Inside, the hotel is very quiet and peaceful, so I could rest well after long days of traveling. The breakfast was excellent, with good quality and a great start to the day. Check-in was quick and easy, and the staff were friendly and always willing to help. I would happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Zurich.

  Liked: The hotel is amazing. Very interesting design decision with all this birch trees and the rooms in general. The staff was super helpful and kind.

  Disliked: The only downside was that the room was super dark. I was staying in the room that is located on the right when you enter the hall and there was a small window which didn’t let a lot of sunlight.
