  Need more improvement on the customer service and they ignored our request about the heater

  Liked: Love the location as it’s bang on in the middle of Birm New Street shopping street. Very great location who wants to do a frequent shopping in the area. Spacious enough for 2 - 3 persons.

  Disliked: Very slow response in terms of customer service. Booked this apartment for my elderly parents. They had a trouble turning on the heater (mind you, they’re Malaysian so the concept of using a heater is almost foreign to them). My dad texted the host on how to turn it on / asked to dispatch someone to help with it, to which he received no response at all. They slept in the cold for 5 consecutive nights. To think that the company won’t give you a check in instruction unless £400 deposit is paid (on top of the price I already paid for my 6-day stay). On the day of the check out, my dad tried to hang his towel on the heater rack in the bathroom and it fell of its hook. Texted the host again to inform him about it and funnily, he texted back and asked how the accident happened. He must have ignored my dad’a earlier request of adjusting the heater 5 days prior. Very very severely disappointed with the service for such a high deposit paid.

  Disliked: The noise outside being right in the City Centre..why are bins being emptied at 5am? But still a great location

  Liked: Spacious and great location and good value

  Disliked: We couldn’t find a tea towel and after several messages with the owner it became obvious that he wasn’t going out of his way to provide one. We had to buy one in the end. We were surprised about paying a £400 security damages deposit, though later we discovered it in the fine print. First time ever been asked.

Please note that in the hallway of the property, there is CCTV. Tampering with it or disconnecting it results in terminating the booking. Any and all deposit deductions will incur a £50 administrative fee, on top of the cost to replace like-for-like any missing or damaged items, plus 3.9% payment processor fee. Early check-in (if available) is an extra £35 and needs to be requested in good time prior to arrival. There is CCTV in the hallway of the property. Any attempts to disconnect or obscure it will result in terminating the booking and immediate vacating of the property. ID and security deposit of GBP400 required prior to providing check-in details. Late check-out fee (60 min after check-out time) is half GBP20 per hour after check-out time. Check-out time will be measured as the time when the key is returned to its collection point. Delays of more than 120min will incur one extra night charge. Two towels per guest are provided as part of the booking, extra towels used are charged at £5 per towel. Any and all deposit deductions will incur a £50 administrative fee, on top of the cost to replace like-for-like any missing or damaged items, plus 3.9% payment processor fee. No other person other than guests indicated in the booking are authorised to enter the property at any one time. Unbooked visitors or guests will attract a £30 per night per person, applicable after the second guest, and applicable to the totality of the duration of the booking, plus a £50 administrative fee and 3.9% payment processor fee.This property does not accommodate bachelor(ette) or similar parties.
