    Fantastic find

Liked: Beautiful room. Just outside the clean air zone. No extra charge for parking. Couldn't find any faults.

Beautiful hotel but not as good as advertised

Liked: The place was beautiful and in a very good location it had a lovely 1920s theme. The bathroom was stunning and very big..

Disliked: There was no reception so no one to talk to, just a phone number to call. Unfortunately our mattress had a dip in the middle of it and it was very difficult to get a good night's sleep. The bed was also a small double and not a large double which was what we hoped for for a superior double room. The window was very difficult to open and the blind didn't fully close which meant that sunlight woke us up early in the morning. The shower had half a door which made me feel anxious about having a shower without getting the bathroom floor wet.

    Beautiful hotel

Liked: Great location, lovely setting and decor. Facilities excellent. Loved the bath.

Disliked: Humming noise in the bathroom. Silenced it by making sure the bathroom door was shut.

Perfect property and very good value

Liked: It was spotless clean and so comfortable.

Disliked: When we pulled up the front door is locked up and gives a bit of a dowdy entrance, but not at all once inside.

    Good stay overall

Liked: Good location, nicely fitted out and well presented, very clean, secure parking

Disliked: Our room was on the ground floor at the front and was quite noisy with traffic and especially noisy with people coming in and out of the main building front door.

    Comfortable self-check-in room in a well-furnished block

Liked: We had a well-furnished room at the tope of two flights of stairs in a well-maintained building. Big roll-top bath and shower cubicle in the bathroom, and a comfortable bed, with tea and coffee-making facilities and biscuits. Breakfast (coffee and pastry) could be obtained at the rather pricey 'Cake and Culture' cafe next door.

Disliked: Couldn't open the (skylight) windows, so had to rely on AC (which worked well enough). No human contact- an access code for the front door and a keybox access code to get into our room.
