  Great hotel and staff but let down by reception staff

  Liked: Proximity to venue. Clean. Great staff in the bar and restaurant but surly and half interested approach by the gentleman on reception.

  Very convenient for central Birmingham

  Liked: Comfortable, if compact, room; very comfortable bed. The staff were all friendly, welcoming and very helpful

  Liked: Friendly greeting at reception, lovely room, good room amenities. Lovely selection at breakfast.

  Perfect location for the concerts

  Liked: The locations great for the utilita, with bars a stones throw away.

  Disliked: The food was the norm. I see it all the time, but I don't like fresh food being placed on top of the older. Food standards unless changed, state the new food to be placed with you older on top.
