  a lovely place in a very nice location

  Liked: great location, good showers, pool table was a nice addition and nice views of the city

  Disliked: finding the keys could have been easier. I'd suggest the owner makes the process clearer and notes it as soon as you book

  Avoid this property - flies everywhere!

  Liked: Nothing.

  Disliked: The entire experience of collecting the keys from a shop that initially did not have them and then another that did not know if they had them, to hundreds and hundreds of flies in the foyer and lift was completely unacceptable to book for a Senior Professional. It felt an unsafe and dirty location. The apartment looked nice but the flies were still around outside the apartment. The company did not answer the phone properly until five calls in and still have not resolved a refund as apparently they don't manage the bins.

  Avoid to avoid disappointment

  Liked: Not a lot as I couldn't access the property. Unable to stay because lifts were out of order. Spent nearly 2 months in dispute with the property owners.

  Disliked: If you like the smell of Urine in the communal lobby, questionable general security and partially blocked fire-exits this property is perfect for you! As an added bonus you can walk up 4 flights of stairs to get to the property when the lifts are broken, which apparently happens regularly. I booked this property nearly a year in advance but have been left very disappointed. As stated the lifts were not working and one of my party is unable to climb stairs let alone 4 flights of stairs. We were aware the property was on the 4th floor but the listing stated there was a lift (There are 2 but neither were working). We contacted the owner who said they would get the lift fixed ASAP. I questioned if ASAP meant 1 hour, 2 hours, 1 day or what? All I got was the reply ASAP - not very helpful. I was only informed the lift was fixed a few weeks after our booked date - not ideal! We arrived at 3.00pm as my wife and I had somewhere we had to be by 7.00pm and had to get ready after driving from London. After a couple of hours without being able to access the property we made the decision that we had to book somewhere else as we had no guarantees that we would be able to access the property to get ready or stay the night. The owner is refusing to offer a full refund and I have just issued them with a 'Letter Before Action.' The communication from Wyndale Living is poor with the only solution to date offered was a 50% refund as long as I didn't leave a negative review - Well here is my negative review and I'm still after a full refund after nearly 2 months! I wonder if others have been offered this deal? Unable to post any photos of the inside of the property but have posted some of the lobby and fire exit FYI. Be advised that the property is in a block of residential flats so there are a lot of comings and goings which may not suit everyone. Thank you for ruining our stay in Birmingham to celebrate my daughter's graduation!
