  Very cosy and great staff

  Liked: The place is very cosy, the staff were sincere and helpful. Room was a bit small, but consistant with vintage inn. If I was going to another Aston Villa game, I will most definately stay here again.

  Liked: Room was excellent. Full english breakfast very good.

  Disliked: We happened to be in Birmingham during an extreme heat wave. We didn¨t have air conditioning and it was hot. But, the weather happened to be very unusual.

  Disappointing and Expensive

  Liked: Bed was comfortable if small and too many cushions. Bathroom was clean and everything worked. Breakfast was fine

  Disliked: Room was very small and had no wardrobe. Front door of building securely locked on arrival. Treated with some suspicion when we were allowed in. Young man had to phone someone to check that we were guests. Then, while still holding our bags in the hall, we were told we had to pay for the room before going any further and also we were asked to select our breakfast for the next day. Very expensive for one night B&B

  No sleep

  Liked: Beautifully decorated room Good parking

  Disliked: Exceptionally noisy room could not sleep Very disturbed night due to constant very very loud traffic noise. Not advertised as right beside motorway or I’d not have booked.
