  A comfortable and relaxing stay

Liked: Welcoming and homely, had every thing that we needed for a nights stay.

Disliked: Breakfast was lovely but a shame that you don't do poached eggs.

Friendly and comfortable - Lovely host

Liked: Room was basic but clean and comfortable. It had everything I needed for a short stay. A chair to sit on would have been good to enable computer work at the table but otherwise fine. Bed was comfortable and I slept well but that could also have been the 6 hour drive before hand. The host was friendly and very helpful, although it would have been good to know before hand that I needed to ring them as I couldn't get in when I arrived. But that could have been my fault as I didn't have an exact arrival time.

Disliked: The selection offered at breakfast was good although I would have preferred tomatoes rather than tinned. Also breakfast was not available until 9.30 which for work visitors is not really convenient. However, I was offered an alternative - sandwich - I think- to take away.

  My stay at the Hesketh

Liked: Mostly everything was very good.

Disliked: I thought everything was mostly good, but there could be a warmer duvet on the beds for winter. I did say a four for the location, but there is a very good bus and tram services that go near the Hesketh, but other than that nothing else was bad.
