  Best hotel breakfast ever!

  Liked: Breakfast was the best we've ever had at a hotel! The Scottish touch was fantastic with the Lorne sausage, tattie scones and haggis along with the usual breakfast items. So many other breakfast options too! Cereal, yogurt, fruit, cereal bars, toast, pancakes, crumpets. Even picky eaters wouldn't have a problem finding something for breakfast here! Nice room, it had everything you could need for a night or two's stay and the bottles of water were a great touch too! Bar area really nice and social. Lovely, friendly owners too. Would definitely return here.

  Disliked: Our mattress was very soft and you could feel a spring or two. A decaf coffee option would be great in the room's drinks selection. But that's being super picky. We weren't really unhappy about anything 😊

  I won’t rush to stay there again!

  Liked: I’m finding it hard to find anything positive about my stay at this hotel!!

  Disliked: No Heating in property, Staff was very sharp and rude. Window nearly fell out in bad weather. Cleanliness of Hotel was poor.

  it was a poor visit and we won't go back

  Liked: most of the staff were very friendly.

  Disliked: the bed was very uncomfortably due to a thin mattress. floorboards creaky. found a dirty toe nail at the side of the bed. breakfast was a good spread but cold. a window in the front of the hotel came through during the night. which didn't affect us but looking at it from outside you could see it was almost rotten. so it did look very rough from the outside
