Liked: The staff were excellent. Parking brilliant. Had to ask for extra towels only 1 hand and 1 bath for 4 people but no problem obtaining more. Bed linen was very clean. The breakfast was good and plentiful.

Disliked: Room needed vacuuming. Unfortunately my mistake but didn't realise there was no lift and there were 3 flights of stairs to negotiate with luggage.

Just what we needed for one night. Don’t think we’d book for more than 1 night

Liked: Location was just where we wanted. Cheap as chips. The staff were lovely, and welcoming. full English breakfast was freshly prepared and lovely, good choices. It has a bar.

Disliked: Dated but believe the current owners haven’t been there long and working to bring it more up to date. Bed could have been more comfortable but for just one night we managed. The bar wasn’t very well stocked.
