  ​Great stay, wonderful staff, and incredible food!

  Liked: ​Comfort & Cleanliness: The room was warm, extremely clean, fairly well-appointed, and very budget-friendly. ​Staff & Hospitality: The hotel staff are incredibly friendly, welcoming, and respectful. ​Amenities: The restaurant is amazing, the bar is excellent, and having free parking right outside in such a great location is a huge bonus. I really enjoyed my stay at The Gurkha! First off, the staff are absolute gems—so incredibly friendly, welcoming, and respectful from the moment you step in. The room itself was warm, spotlessly clean, fairly well-appointed, and very reasonably priced. Plus, free parking right outside in such a great location is a massive bonus in Blackpool! The absolute highlight has to be the restaurant—the food is amazing! The bar is fantastic too, making it a great spot to unwind in the evening. Would I stay here again? 100% yes! Please don't take the small grumbles the wrong way—I’m just being nitpicky! It’s a wonderful, friendly spot with brilliant food, and I'd happily book again.

  Disliked: Breakfast: Breakfast wasn't included in the room rate which I knew. While it was cooked well and reasonably priced, the portioning on the Full English could be improved (two value sausages and only one rasher of bacon felt a bit sparse). Additionally, serving Nescafé sachets instead of proper coffee was a drawback for a morning coffee lover. ​Room Décor & Comfort: The room could use a cosmetic refresh, as you can see where patches have been painted over. A second pillow in the room as standard (or available) would also be a great addition, especially for guests needing extra joint support.
