    Had better

Liked: Location and spa/jet bath. The view from hotel room

Disliked: Dinner meal was okay other than only one bread roll allowed per person for soup. Also one glass of apple juice with breakfast due to them running out. The room wasnt fully clean and headboard all slanted and lights not working. Holes in the wall from previous tv wall unit. Unhappy as expecting entertainment and games room. No enterntainment, which was not communicated, said dj and bingo. No bingo and dj was a you tube video. Ice hockey game broken and there isnt a games room. The apparent stench of fresh paint throughout the building and decorating items on lower lever near exit door. Why not just close for refurbs. Not worth the cost of what is being charged.

Disliked: Curtains not fully fitted, bathroom was not very clean. Not enough bedding, window sill very dirty, staff promised to sort curtains and bathroom but they never did, entertainment was only bingo when they advertised live music. Not enough staff, receptionist was working reception and the bar, which was leaving people waiting at each end. Rubbish not cleaned up from outside the main door, which didn't look very good upon arrival and left us wondering what sort of hotel we had come to. At breakfast I and other people were told to get teapots out of a cupboard and make our own tea, then take the tea to our tables, so no health and safety, I managed, but there was pensioners struggling to carry hot teapot across the dining room

Funny family memories made at this hotel

Liked: Not much. Made a bad choice here. I heard a lady say she was checking out early. And a Dad tell his child "its not very nice here". No one was in charge and there was an extraordinary sign in reception that really needs taking down.

Disliked: There was so much choice on booking.com for Blackpool. I made an error booking here. I know running a business is hard but a few changes like extractor fans to remove the smell of fried food, signs around the hotel. It's a lovely location but needs a revamp. Blackpool was super fun though.

Absolute Nightmare - Would not recommend. Not even basic manners let alone basic facilities

    Liked: Nothing

Disliked: As a resident in Blackpool We booked 1 night at this hotel as we had no power at home for 3 days due to storm damage where we live. After a long day at work we was looking forward to a shower and a comfy bed We notified the hotel of a late check in as I had been to work, when we arrived 8:45 there was nobody to check us in. We waited a few mins and saw a man, asked if he worked at the hotel as we were wanting to check in, his response “yes but I’m serving drinks”. As he was checking us in I noted a sign saying breakfast from 8:30am. We enquired if there was an earlier breakfast option as I was starting work at 8:30. He said no. So I enquired as to a refund for the breakfast, he said to speak with reception in the morning. We mentioned the storm damage to the man and said we were looking forward to a comfy bed and a shower. We got a room key and went to find our double room. We in fact got a family room with 2 singles and a double. No problem. Then we found that the TV didn’t work. Ok. We’ll manage I thought. Went to get a shower and the shower valve came off in my hand. My husband went to reception to find the night porter who was now calling bingo. The man who had checked us in shrugged his shoulders and said to speak with reception in the morning. There was nothing he could do. I packed my bag and went to reception. Asked if we could change the room where we were told no. There were no more rooms available. The man was rude and very unhelpful. I am going to pursue a refund and report this to booking.com where we made the booking. We had spent 3 days with no heating, cooking or any form of power at home, thinking a night in a hotel would enable us to at least have a shower and a comfy bed. We might have stayed home!!!!
