Exceptional
Liked: It was exactly the quaint Cotswold experience we were looking for. A wonderful stay, thank you 😊
Disliked: It would be helpful to have the pathway lit up - it was very dark to navigate the lockbox but everything else was wonderful.
We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights stay and greatly appreciated the amenities as well as the nearby parking. Being right
Liked: Fabulous cottage! The location can’t be beat as you are steps away from the village center with pubs and shopping just a few minutes walk.
Disliked: The cottage had everything we needed.
Your Cotswold Dream Cottage
Liked: This cottage is every bit as adorable as it looks in the pictures. Book it. You will not regret it. We only wish we had stayed longer. It was like stepping into the dream you have of the Cotswolds and pretending to be a local for a short time.
Disliked: Nothing. It is perfection.
Beautifully designed cottage in the heart of the Cotswold
Liked: This stone cottage provides the quintessential Cotswold experience in Bourton on the Water. It has wooden beam ceilings, stone walls and a cozy vibe. It is not large, but still offers a sitting room, dining table and sizeable kitchen with all the amenities you need, including a combination washer dryer and dishwasher. We were provided with a few welcome goodies upon our arrival. The decor is very well selected and the overall look is very pleasing and well done. It has a designer look to it that enhances the experience. The kitchen and bathroom have a lovely cottage core vibe. The bathroom is the first one on our trip so far that has a place to put your things by the sink. And the first one to provide a facecloth as well. Extra points! The cottage has a small back yard and is spread over three floors. The upper floors are accessible by an old, steep, narrow wooden staircase. There is one bedroom on the top floor, and a bedroom and bathroom on the second floor (1st floor to Europeans). The fireplace in the sitting room works. We had no trouble accessing the key from the box and getting in the cottage, but we did have trouble finding the cottage.
Disliked: The cottage is on Bourton on the Water, a very busy and crowded village, The lanes that access the property are very narrow and there are cars parked on many of them. It was difficult to locate Jasmine Cottage. From the street all you see is a blank wall and parked cars in front of the gate obscure the name. We did eventually find it, but clear directions and a more prominent sign that could be seen from the street would have been appreciated. There is little parking near the cottage because of all the other cars, and it is difficult to negotiate the narrow lanes. We did manage to park in front of the cottage, but it wasn't easy.
Liked: Beautiful cottage, very close to the town. Everything is provided for you and hosts are lovely
Disliked: Nothing
Beautiful cottage in an ideal location
Liked: Spotlessly clean and well equipped characterful cottage with large bedrooms in a perfect location close to the centre of the village, the river, cafes and pubs.
Disliked: Only that I couldn’t stay longer
