Very good- although it was a bit more expensive than the usual places we stay, it was worth it. Will stay again

Liked: Almost everything. Location. Staff extremely helpful. Room good except it was not well enough lit. We were disappointed to learn that the main restaurant was not open. It was a Sunday evening but nowhere could I see that identified before we booked. There were bar meals available, which were ok but the evening was saved by the barman Amae who was helpful and efficient and charming.

Disliked: As above - not much

    You’re paying for the location

Liked: The location is great … easy flat walk into the city. The rooms were quiet. The receptionist was lovely … in fact, all the staff were.

Disliked: The view from the room was over a bleak inner courtyard, which made everything feel dark (I assume the more expensive rooms had better views). The tea making facilities were miserly, with just enough milk for one cup of tea. No biscuits, no decaf teabags. The breakfast was nice, but wildly overpriced. Amazingly, the hotel bar doesn’t sell snacks or any sort of food after 9pm. This is patently ridiculous.

Nice but won’t be staying there again as was very overpriced

Liked: Great location, friendly staff, lovely decor

Disliked: Pillows were atrocious - lumpy and uncomfortable. Dog charge was very expensive at £35 and only added at check out despite me calling earlier.
