    Average accommodation

    Liked: The room wasn’t what we expected from the photo on our confirmation e mail. We were in an attic room with limited space when we had booked a ‘comfort’ room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable though. We dined in the pub on our first night but the food did not impress.

    Liked: Regrettably, we didn't feel The Red Lion was either good value or a pleasant place to stay. We booked and stayed two nights B&B. The accommodation is what we'd call basic. The breakfast was very poor. The team seemed extremely inexperienced. We felt that The Red Lion is really a drinking pub with accommodation and food as a slightly irritating afterthought. There are plenty of other places to stay in CC for not much more money. Our advice would be to try those first.
