  Disliked: The pillows were a bit old and tired. One of the plugs by the bed did not work so I could not have the bed light on while charging my phone.

  A comfortable, beautifully presented and well-equipped stay in a fantastic location

  Liked: We had a very enjoyable stay at Thorntons. The property was clean, comfortable, well appointed and very well equipped, with everything we needed for a relaxing stay. It was also tastefully decorated and nicely presented throughout, which gave it a welcoming and homely feel. The location was excellent too – very convenient for Chipping Campden itself and a great base for exploring the surrounding area. Overall, it was a very pleasant place to stay and somewhere we were happy to return to at the end of each day.

  Disliked: Only a few relatively minor niggles. The fridge had no shelf, which meant we had to lay a bottle of milk on its side and unfortunately it leaked. The toilet cistern took an exceptionally long time to refill after flushing, which was a little frustrating. The internet connection was also quite slow, making it difficult at times to stream or watch TV reliably. None of these significantly spoiled our stay, but they are small things that would be worth addressing.
