Guest reviews
Exceptional
Liked: Nice Hosts, unlimited supply of tea and Coffee and a nice bathroom with great shower. Great for hikers, as we could dry our stuff in the bathroom. Cereal for breakfast was included.
It was a good place for a stop over
Liked: basic breakfast,
Disliked: Sadly the bathroom cleanlyness did not match the room. Sanitry items still in bathroom litter bin from previous guest! sandy gritty floor.
Disliked: Unfortunately, we found dozens of different hairs on the bed sheets which left us with concerns about whether the bedding had been properly cleaned before our arrival. When I raised the issue, the host told me the bedding had been checked before our arrival and asked me not to leave a negative review. I found this response disappointing. I would have appreciated a sincere apology rather than feeling that my concern was being questioned. The property itself is lovely. I hope greater attention will be paid to bedding hygiene in the future, as it can have a significant impact on guests overall experience.
Cosy room
Liked: The landlord was very kind and friendly. The room is newly renovated, very cosy, clean and quiet. It can be reached via some stairs as it is in the attic. The windows overlook the mountains. The bed mattress is soft but comfortable. There is a huge parking area opposite the house. The coast is just a few minutes away.
Fantastic
Liked: Great location, lovely host, quiet and all you could need
Disliked: Nothing. But some won’t like the stairs or that you enter using the main door which is connected to the main house. It didn’t bother us.
