Excellent place to stay
Liked: Very well appointed with everything we could possibly need for an extended stay.
Disliked: Bit of mould around the top of the tub and there needs to be safety rails over the tub for shorter and less able folks to get into the shower.
It was a lovely stay
Liked: The location was near to a lot of sights we planned to visit. It was near the town centre so getting supplies was not an issue. The free parking was a plus point too. The view of the Loch in front was gorgeous and perfect for walking our dog. The property had all the basic facilities we needed for our stay. The kitchen was well equipped, toilet and the rest of the accommodation was clean. The breakfast provided was good with cereals, bread, instant oats, and choices of bread spreads given too. I love how eco-friendly it was with use of bar soaps & shampoos for guests’ use and recycling was encouraged. The instructions we were given by Norma was very clear and easy to follow.
Disliked: It can be quite noisy when cars drive past the property. The coffee machine wasn’t working so we resorted to using the instant coffee granules provided. The pillows needed an upgrade as it was too thin. Luckily, there was a spare in the cabinet so I inserted another inside the pillow case to make it more comfortable.

'Save the environment'
Liked: The apartment was spacious and very clean with top quality equipment, ie smeg kettle/ hairdryer, comfortable sofa area. Yes the view was ok, kind of a gap in the tree's, maybe a little better on the 1st floor. The water ran extremely hot (this is a good thing for me) and was lovely big bath tub with shower above.
Disliked: Breakfast was 'included' within the price that consisted of cheap processed croissants that were frozen (we had to remove) frozen bread, 1 pint of milk and some cornflakes. Considering the price of 1 night hear i would expect more as everything in the flat was very high quality and the Breakfast really let it down. 1 pint of milk is not enough between 2 people and we ended up going out and buying our own as after walking 96 miles we were thirsty for tea's and coffees. Everything is eco friendly when it actually comes across as cheaply done, shampoo/ soap cut up lumps- not a bubble bath bottle in sight, no kitchen roll to be seen to clean up a small spill. I understand the 'save the environment thing' but again from this price point I would really like a small bottle of bubble bath, it just looks like no effort has been made. Who doesnt have kitchen roll in a kitchen? On booking.com I reached out to see if possible to check in a little early, this was met with a upcharge of £15 (never before have i been charged for a early check-in, if that had finished cleaning) My dog was a extra £15 and Considering the original price of this i found this to much if I was to add another £15 pounds for early check in. We had a email with instructions regarding the emptying of the bins, pretty unfriendly and overwhelming. The market for this apartment is hikers who are passing though after finishing their hike like we were, its hard enough to find a reasonable priced hotel around Fort William and this is being taken advantage of. I have travelled all over the country and stayed at meny hotels/ apartments, the lack of personal touches were very present. But huge amount of money had been spent of equipment like coffee machine/ robot hoover/ kettle and toaster but here is a frozen loaf of bread for you to eat in the morning. It didnt make sense to me
