Exceptional
Liked: This was our second visit in two years to The Moorings. Well located to Fort William, a very comfortable and relaxed stay.
Disliked: Nothing
Very decent place to stay close to Fort William
Liked: The property was well located, far enough outside Fort William to not be bothered by tourists but close enough to walk into for a drink/bite to eat etc and is just over a mile away. Although a reasonable degree of care needs to be taken on walk into Fort William along the main road as there is typically quite a lot of traffic. The property was easy enough to find and has good parking. Communications from the property owners (who live next door) were clear and helpful. Overall the property was well equipped, nicely furnished and is a good place to stay at any time of year, although due to the time of year we were there we didn't make use of the outdoor facilities, but can imagine in the summer it would be nice to sit out at the back of the property. We really enjoyed our stay at The Moorings and would be very happy to recommend the property and very happy to stay there again if travelling that way - Fort William is a good place to base yourself for a few days in that part of Scotland.
Disliked: There was nothing we didn't like, but just one thing I would say to be aware of - there is one bedroom upstairs and one downstairs, the upstairs sleeping area is sort of open plan and so would perhaps lack some privacy if for example two couples were staying there - but that was not an issue for us.
Liked: Chris and Da were wonderful hosts. Very friendly and helpful for things to do and for using the accommodations facilities. Everything was clean and comfortable. Beautiful surroundings. Plenty of parking space. 5 minute drive into fort William. Access to a private beach with a hut that we didn't use.
Disliked: Nothing. We'll definitely be back 😊
Amazing stay on the outskirts of Fort William
Liked: Fabulous home from home. Excellent facilities; spotlessly clean; very eco-friendly; superb views across the loch; owners lived next door and were very friendly and helpful without being intrusive; private parking was a bonus; handy for the town yet very peaceful.
Disliked: Nothing!!

Liked: The home was immaculate, it had comfortable beds and was well equipped, and had friendly hosts
Disliked: We had a difficult time finding the driveway using Apple Maps.

Liked: Spacious, stylish, comfortable and well equipped kitchen. Great location too. Perfect for our family of 4 with 2 teenagers.
Disliked: Nothing we didn’t like.
