  reliable and very good value and I hope to be back

  Liked: staff very friendly and helpful esp the guy for breakfast (he was so helpful last time we stayed in Dec 25 too). breakfast selection good

  Fit for the purpose of my visit. Value for money

  Liked: Excellent. I was attending a conference at the SEC, so … fit for purpose and good value for money.

  Honest Guest House with lovely staff

  Liked: Quiet neighbourhood near the university and some nice parks. Easy to access on public transport. Good breakfast.

  Disliked: The beds weren't very comfortable and a bit firm.

  Disliked: Internet signal in my room (21) in the guest house was very weak. Breakfast was good, but options were very limited. I missed sweet pastries for example

  Clean, friendly and very accomodating

  Liked: When we go back to Glasgow we for sure will be staying at Argyll guest house again! The rooms were big enough for the two of us, and the bed was heaven to sleep on. The entire apartment was clean and we really enjoyed our evening there. They were VERY accomodating for the breakfast. Both my wife and I are vegan and they went above and beyond to help us out! They showed us what was and wasn't vegan at the buffet and supplied us with a vegan full english (vegan sausages included!) The staff was very friendly and we had some nice chats with them <3

Good to know

Check-in is at our sister property the Argyll Hotel located directly across the road. Check-in is after 15:00 (If you arrive earlier we would be happy to hold your luggage).

Check-out is by 11:00. If you are not leaving the city until later we are happy to hold your luggage.

Group bookings over 5 rooms will have a group cxl policy that is flexible up to 30 days before arrival applied.

Group bookings made within 30 days of arrival will be subject to prepayment.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
