  Charming and upmarket new eastend

Liked: Made very welcome by host Tom and given information needed for our stay. Breakfast was well served and very good value with a good choice. Although we arrived by bus, very easy and within a 10 min walk, there was plenty of local parking. The house was a curiosity with wonders on walls and in public areas. Great. Could do with a tidy up but this added to the chaotic charm. We would definitely return to stay again. Plenty of local cafes, restaurants and shop nearby.

Liked: Very comfortable and clean room, lovely breakfast. It’s not a hotel, it’s a house that gives services like a hotel (and possibly more). It might be a better solution for some and a matter for others. Overall it was great!

Don’t judge a book by its cover

Liked: First impressions not great, but once inside people were very polite and friendly, breakfast was excellent. Would have preferred an en-suite. But overall Quite satisfied.
