    Basic but central

Liked: Security was good, needing a key to get into majority of the doors made me feel safer.

Disliked: Really noisy room heard everything all night

Can't fault the location, but a slightly traumatic stay

Liked: Location great, central, nice reception staff.

Disliked: I got stuck in the toilet/shower cubicle inside the hotel room. Locked the door (as you do) and couldn't open it. Thankfully I was staying with a friend, so we both tried from either side to move the handle, to no success. It was so tiny in there that it was heating up, as I was getting more panicked I felt like I could barely breathe; and my friend had to shove my Propranolol medication (beta blockers) underneath the door as I started having a panic attack. We phoned down to reception, who came up to try; but weren't able to open it. He then left to get tools, but came back after speaking to maintenance to had apparently advised the best way to hold the door from outside and lift the handle inside at the same time, which after some manipulation did work. The whole thing probably wasn't more than 20 minutes, but was traumatising all the same, and as much as I feel like staff were probably at a bit of a loss themselves; it was basically left as "ok I guess we'll make sure not to lock that door again" and no other solution offered. Lucky my friend and I are close! And had I been on my own, well goodness knows what I would have done. I'm not entirely convinced that the fault has been formally reported, and based on that, I'd probably not feel happy staying there again.

It was OK for one night as a place to sleep. I wouldn't want to stay there any longer than that

Liked: Clean and central. A 5-minute walk from where I needed to be and close to lots of shops, cafes and restaurants. Could not fault this aspect. Also, the staff were very pleasant and the room was very clean,

Disliked: The room was tiny. The bathroom was tiny. There was no reading light beside the bed. It felt a bit like a prison cell rather than a hotel room. There was no food on offer - not shop, no vending maching, no breakfast, no coffee facilities.
